Can You Really Make Money Taking Online Surveys?

Is it Really Possible to Make Money Taking Online Surveys?

You won't become rich chasing 'work from home' plans, but doing online surveys can help you supplement your income. Here's how to do it.

There are few legitimate ways to make money from home while wearing sweats and munching Cheetos. Most "work from home" prospects are too good to be true unless you've spent years creating your own business or have the necessary talents and a serendipitous connection.

You might make money online in your leisure time: Taking part in market research panels and surveys.

Taking surveys is one of the simplest methods to earn money online. It's as simple as signing up, creating a profile, and offering your feedback on commercials, products, services, and more.

The big question is how much money you can make and how much labor you'll have to put in. While you certainly won't be able to make a livelihood doing internet surveys, they can help you supplement your income. You could also use surveys to obtain additional benefits, such as free merchandise.

Why Do Companies Spend Money on Surveys?

You may believe that getting paid to do a survey is absurd. Why would anyone want to pay you for your thoughts?

In reality, most businesses rely on customer feedback. Companies that do not have a department dedicated to conducting consumer surveys and panels employ survey firms to do it on their behalf.

Consumer feedback enables businesses to make more money by allowing them to fine-tune items and marketing before they are released to the general public. That's why, when you do a survey, corporations will compensate you for your time. It is critical that you provide them with accurate information in order for them to succeed.

How Does It Work?

Taking online surveys is straightforward, though it does take some effort to get started. The steps are as follows:

Look for a company to join. Cinchbucks, for example. I've given a list of firms to look into below, but there are hundreds more reputable businesses to choose from.

Make a profile and fill it up. You'll need a different profile for each firm for which you conduct surveys, and you'll want to fill out each one completely. Each survey is tailored to a specific demographic, so the company won't send you one unless your profile indicates that you fit the profile they're looking for.

Obtain surveys. Most survey providers will send you an email when new surveys become available. Some are available right now for you to take. Others may require you to spend a few minutes answering pre-survey questions to check that you are in the right demographic. If that's the case, you can proceed to the survey (and get the reward). You can also receive things in the mail that you're supposed to review.

Participate in surveys. Simply respond to the questions. Answering a few multiple choice questions can sometimes suffice. You may also be required to type long-form responses to more specific queries.

Reward yourself. From one organisation to the next, the awards procedure differs drastically. Some businesses award you with points that you may exchange for cash or other benefits. Others will deposit money into your PayPal account right away, while others will enter your name into a sweepstakes drawing.

These processes differ from one survey firm to the next, so before you sign up, be sure you understand how the process works.

How much money can you make?

As I previously stated, you won't make a fortune conducting internet surveys, but you can earn some extra cash for fun, debt repayment, or investment. The value of monetary survey prizes ranges from less than $1 to more than $20, however they're frequently in the $1 to $5 range. You can earn a lot of money in a month if you can take many per day.

Other businesses will not pay you in cash. However, they may be able to help you save money by providing you with free things, frequently full-size products, that you must try in order to complete the survey. Obviously, this is a terrific method to receive free housekeeping items, personal care items, diapers, and other items that you use on a regular basis.

When you complete a survey, some companies will enter you into a sweepstakes drawing. The more surveys you complete, the better your chances of winning. These can be aggravating because you don't always get a reward immediately away. They can, however, be rewarded with fantastic gifts such as gift cards, merchandise, and cash.

How much money you can make is determined by which companies you join, how many surveys you complete, and which demographic you belong to. If you belong to a population that is frequently surveyed, you may have more opportunities to earn money, increasing your survey earning potential.

Some organisations, such as Cinchbucks, may reward you with prizes, points, or cash if you refer others to their service, so this is another aspect of survey-taking to consider.

The trick is that you may earn money by taking surveys when you would otherwise be idle. You're not obligated to complete any surveys that arrive in your inbox, but you can do so if you have 10 or 15 minutes to spare between Facebook and Twitter.

Identifying the 'Bad Apples'

While there are many legitimate survey companies, this is also a lucrative industry for scammers. Some businesses will profit from selling your profile information, which can be highly intimate.

So, before you join up, make sure you read the company's privacy policy in the contract. If you can't discover the company's privacy policy, or if it says the corporation is free to share your data, stay away. You're basically setting yourself up for a spam-filled inbox.

Also, never, ever, ever, ever pay a survey business in advance. This is a con that aims to take your money without providing you with anything in return.

Remember that businesses require information from surveys and are willing to pay for it. So, rather than demanding to be compensated, respectable survey companies will share the wealth by paying you.

Check Out These Companies

There are literally hundreds of survey companies to choose from. However, because different organisations conduct different demographic research, you may receive different answers from different companies, so it's worthwhile to shop around.

Below are the top two survey companies:

CinchBucks Bonus of $5: This is a fantastic organisation to work with because you may earn cash back or gift cards for your online activities. You may earn Cinchbucks by viewing movies, taking surveys, voting in polls, purchasing online. Signing up is free, and if you're going to spend hours on the internet anyhow, you might as well get paid for it.

Cinchdollars: This reputable website, which was founded in 2014, allows users to make money by completing surveys. The funds can be transferred to Visa, Amazon, Gcodes, and PayPal gift cards. Our Cinchdollars Review has more information on it.
